The edit selections

The full 4:51 recording was transcribed locally before selecting these excerpts. The old offer, numerical growth claims and ingredient-count comparisons are excluded. Each reel keeps a complete personal thought.

When it happened to me

When I got COVID, my hair was the last thing on my mind. But then a few months later, it started coming out in handfuls. And I remember the first time I could see my scalp through my hair, I was standing in my bathroom under that awful overhead light thinking, when is this going to stop? I know firsthand how stressful hair loss can be.

Knowing why didn’t make it easy

I'm Jessica, and I've spent over a decade as a functional nutrition professional helping women decode their symptoms and help them understand what their body's asking for. So even though I understood the physical mechanism behind why so much hair was coming out after a really stressful time for my body, I was not prepared for how difficult that experience can be.

Why I created Byrch

Now, I have had long hair all of my life, and I was just not ready to let go of it yet, so I went on a hunt for a solution. So ultimately, I decided to do something about it. I worked with excellent formulators who created a natural scalp serum based around two actives, a microalgae blend called Densidyl and a botanical complex called Baicapil.
